Happy Girl

5/19/18   Yesterday we said goodbye to our wonderful pup, Happy Girl. Though she didn't want to leave us, her body could no longer keep going.

We were so lucky to be able to adopt her from VGSR in 2007. She was everything that we love in the breed, loyal, friendly, and protective of her family. She was always welcoming to all our fosters and loved hanging out with her pack. Happy loved to play and would bring her jolly ball to all our guests. She was our running partner, best friend, and baby. When she could no longer run with us, she loved strolling around our yard, carrying her ball, and going over to see the dog next door.

Our vet said yesterday she was one of the great ones. She was, and we are thankful to VGSR and Happy's foster, Lea Spickler, who let us have this terrific and special dog. Rest in peace our Happy Girl, we will always miss you.     Veronica, Randy, Athena, Jake, and Willow

Hasso 2707

RIP 3/5/09 - 3/20/11
May peace and happiness surround you.

Heidi
We were so fortunate to have been able to have Heidi in our lives. We adopted her at the age of 8, after her Mom's passed away, but it seems as she was with us from the beginning. She was a terrific, beautiful, loyal dog. Her favorite activity was gardening, and she supervised numerous projects that we will always have to remember her by. She loved to lead the wheelbarrow and would run to get in front of it as if she knew where to put it.
She also adored many hikes and loved to stay in cabins and sit on the deck during the evening. You could feel her peaceful spirit as she looked over the mountains. She was the type of dog that people talk about for the rest of their lives, because you can't help but recognize that you were simply lucky to have known her.
Heaven is a better place today.
Missed greatly by her family,
Semiramis and Brenda and brother Zack
