Major 4747's Sponsorship Page
Hi friends! I've been with my foster family for 2 weeks now. It took a few days for me to adjust to my new family. I really do enjoy being an inside dog. My past owner kept me tied up outside in the cold and rain. I didn't like it so chewed through my rope and ran off. Needless to say, the mosquitoes got me and gave me this thing called heartworms. I'm not too worried about it because I'm getting the treatment I need and should be free of them in a few months.
I am a really good boy and like to be where my mom is. I love it when she pets me and loves on me. I really would like to stay here but I need to find my furever home so mom can help another dog like me.
Please consider adopting Major. He has so much love to give and deserves to find a wonderful family to call his own!
Hi! Major here! Just a quick update. I wanted to let you all know I went to a friend's house and met two cats today. I wasn't sure what to think about the first one when I saw it. My friend thinks I probably have never seen one. Then, since the cat was really dog savvy and didn't seem to really care about me, I wasn't really bothered with it. My friend took a picture of the two of us together so my foster could see us hanging out! They had a second cat there too that didn't seem to even notice me (my friend has 6 other dogs in their home), so I didn't even bother with the other cat. So my foster thinks that I might do well in a home with a dog savvy cat or cats.
Major is a young GSD with a moderate energy/activity level. He can be a little submissive.
Ideal Home: Major would do best in a home with older, considerate kids and a canine pal to play with and build confidence.
