Tyke was surrendered to the rescue when his owner was moving to a place that did not allow big dogs. He gets along great with the resident GSDs and loves to wrestle and play chase but can get a little rough at times. Tyke gets along with our cats and wants to play with them, nosing them at times, but they do not feel threatened by him. He is an excellent traveler in the car. He will occasionally play fetch but would prefer to be chased while he carries a ball. Although Tyke can be crated his manners are such that he can be left loose in the home when no one is home, as long as the cat food is out of his reach! When I arrive home Tyke greets me with a tail wag and vocalizing how happy he is to see me. Tyke is being treated for a suspected food sensitivity/allergy and will need to remain on a limited ingredient food (Taste of the Wild fish variety). Overall he's a great guy!!
