O'Keefe is just over a year old, he was born in February, 2013. He came from a rural area and was first given up because he chased livestock as a puppy. More recently he lived around cats and chickens and would chase but from what I saw he didn't have a really strong prey drive. He's a typical active and playful one year old, actually he seems mature for his age. The former owner said he was house trained but she would crate him when she went to work because he had chewed a window sill. He's been crated in his foster home and is fine with that. He was submissive to the dogs he met in his new foster home, but they are all large breed dogs. He may have been around children as a young pup but he has lived with a single, older woman in a home without children for past nine months. He is playful with another foster dog about his age in his current foster home. The former owner was away from home for 12 hour days and wanted to find him a home with someone who has more time for him. He has not been leash trained but he's not the worst dog I've ever had on a leash by far. He is very people oriented and wants/needs to form that bond.
