Jodie (we call her Aura) is a young sensitive little dog who just wants to be loved. She was picked up as a stray and seems to have had little experience in the world. Everything is new to her, she is learning to walk on a leash, walk through doors into a house, use stairs, play with toys, be petted and loved. It is all new to her and she has a great attitude and wiliness to try new things.

Aura is being treated for heartworm and will have to stay in a quite low activity environment until the heartworm treatment is complete. This should be about 2 months. We have only had her in the rescue for a few days and I predict that as she starts to relax and her health improves we will see a lot more personality out of this little firecracker. She is very sweet and does not have an aggressive bone in her undernourished body.
