Cyrus has just arrived to VGSR. We spent time together getting to know each other and it went splendidly. We both agree that the most fun in the whole world is to throw the ball for Cyrus. He was fine with his foster sister, the beautiful Raven. He did not pay much attention to the cat at all and seems quite calm and mostly disinterested in the feline species. He is housebroken. He goes into his crate easily and without complaint.

Cyrus is a young dog with intense ball drive. He has some basic obedience, but he will need an owner who has good experience with GSDs and is willing to continue his training and keep him exercised. Although Cyrus could be a family pet, he would thrive in an environment that develops his mental and physical capabilities. As long as there is a ball in motion, this boy is happy. Cyrus is underweight and has some muscle atrophy in his hindquarters. We are focusing on getting his body back in shape. I believe that his energy requirements will go up commensurately with his health.
