Zachary here, reporting from my new hangout in Northern Virginia.   I did it.   Yes, I ate Joan Didion.   My foster mom will have to explain that to the librarian.   She’s given me lots of bones and toys to chew on that I now find more interesting than mom’s stuff.   See, I can learn.   I now sit when mom puts my leash on or takes it off and to be let out of the crate.   I dig the crate.   It’s a good place to rest when you’re recovering from surgery.   I had FHO on my right rear hip.   The vet thinks I may have been hit by a car, but this surgery will make my leg good as new.   It will take a while for me to get strong, but I could be your running buddy in a few months.   You’d like having me around.   I’m stunningly adorable.   I will show you my belly at every opportunity.   I’m super friendly with humans, fellow dogs, cats and I’m especially fond of children.   I’m young and playful, so I need adopters who will teach me commands and make sure I get to exercise and play.   I’m resting a lot now, but I’ll be at adoption days in Northern Virginia starting in mid or late September.   Btw, my surgery was expensive.   Please help VGSR pay for my care!
