Peaches is a new senior "lady" who just came into our Rescue. She is very light colored, and has a shorter coat than most Shepherds. She is in excellent health and is very sweet, also definitely one of those "velcro" dogs, who just wants to spend time by your side. She is still adjusting here but is totally trustworthy in the home, NO accidents! She is good with my adult male Shepherd on walks but needs some work on sharing her space in the house.

Peaches will go outside to do important business but prefers to be inside with me. At this time, she does not want to stay outside alone. She likes to play with stuffed animals and loves her chew bones! She handles stairs with ease and no hip or other age related problems. She is very treat and food motivated and is learning that "counter-surfing" is not acceptable behavior! She knows basic commands such as sit, shake, and down. She does not seem to be overly interested in cats when out on walks but no kitties in this home to test close range interaction. She is still somewhat excited to be in new surroundings and will pull on the leash when walking but is improving every day. She obeys commands and corrects very easily.

Peaches will be spayed soon and more information will be available as we get to know each other.
