Precious is just about the perfect name for this girl. Of all the fosters who have made their way through my heart and home, she is absolutely the sweetest, most loving, well behaved, and trustworthy of them all.

Precious is a Belgian Malinois who was adopted from VGSR just about two years ago and had been living the good life with a Mom who loved her very much; then Mom lost her job. She held onto Precious as long as she could then, loving her as much as she does, she realized that finding a new home was the best thing she could do for her girl. A true Mother’s love; doing what’s best for their baby, not what’s best for them. Her Mom asked for our help and Precious she came back to us.

It’s only been a few days but she is quite at home with me and my two males. She earned free roam of my home after only 24 hours and I am not concerned about a single thing in it; I know she won’t touch anything tha’s not hers. She eats alongside my boys and wants to play with them but, since they outweigh her by more than 30 pounds I am cautious and limit the level of excitement in their games. When she loses the extra 10 pounds she’s carrying around she will be even more playful than she is and will be able to hold her own with most dogs. Although a bit shy she loves every dog and every person she meets, and after a few minutes, they become a long lost friend.

She is currently being treated for a bladder infection but it has not affected her in any discernible way. Precious attends VGSR events in the Tidewater area.
