Sabastian is a small, beautiful male black and silver German Shepherd; a gem and a gentleman who will do great in any home. He gets along with other dogs, kids, and adults; he loves to play, go on walks, ride in the car, and socialize at the park. He is a very happy guy with great manners and is completely trustworthy in the house. Sabastian is very attached to me and loves attention, so I'd like to see him in a home where he will not be alone for long periods. He does want to chase squirrels and may react similarly to cats, though he hasn't seen any since coming to his foster home.

Sabastian's View: 

So, I'm in a new place, but it sure feels like home to me! The digs and food are great, and I like my soft sleepy bed, but life is really good when Mom lies with me, rubs my ears, and calls me Little Handsome. She says I slid right into her pack like I'd always been here and I have excellent house manners. My foster brother gets jealous of all the love I get, but we're cool, I play and wrestle with him a lot. He's a lot bigger than me, but Mom says I give him a run for his money, whatever that means.  She doesn't like it when I bark and try to chase her hens, though, so I try to control myself by barking at & carrying around big rocks or playing with my soccer ball.

I didn't appreciate Mom taking me to the doctor, but I was really good and I liked all the people and other dogs. They said I needed to gain a little weight and get some baths for my skin. I'm not really keen on the bath thing, but I feel so much better and my coat is shiny and soft. Mom says I'm a good eater, I say yum to everything, even taking my medicine. They also said I'm ten years old, but don't let that fool you, I say ten is the new six! I probably have some arthritis in my hip and leg, but it doesn't stop me. I never say no to a good walk, and I love car rides to Petsmart and Home Depot where I get to meet other dogs and people. I like being active and social, but a good relaxing snooze and belly rubs are pretty darn good too. I'm loving life! And I would love you, too. Won't you consider making me part of your family?
