Hiya! My name is Moose. I am only 4 months old and I am skinny, but I still weigh 47 pounds. At my last house things were so bad that the nice animal control people took me away from there. I like it where I am now- big crate, big food bowl and two big sisters to pester.

Ok, Moose, my turn to talk. I’m Moose’s foster mom. Moose is a puppy: he’s not housetrained, he’s mouthy, and someone has encouraged him to mouth (can’t really call it biting or nipping) feet when you’re walking. He is improving daily and the foot thing can be stopped with a "noooo, Moose" already. He is smart and he is a quick learner. He has plenty of puppy energy but can be burned out pretty rapidly. As he continues to get better exercise and nutrition I think he is going to be fairly active. He loves to chase anything that moves: his favorite is chasing the dragonflies in the backyard. He loves to play with my two dogs and while he takes their correction well, it doesn’t last long and he’s back to nag them.

Moose needs a home that has plenty of time to socialize, exercise and train him. Prior German Shepherd experience is a plus. He will need to go to formal training classes upon adoption.
