Cleo is a stunning 2-year-old sable female with a heart that’s ready to belong to someone special. Weighing about 60 lbs, she came to the shelter through no fault of her own when her previous owners were no longer able to care for her. It’s clear Cleo spent a lot of time outdoors in her past, and she’s now enjoying the comfort, safety, and love she deserves.

Cleo is a smart, eager-to-please girl who already knows her basic commands. She is crate trained, housebroken, and very polite about taking care of her business quickly when outside. Though compact, she’s strong and athletic and is currently polishing her leash manners and learning to heel. Being very food-motivated, Cleo responds well to training and enjoys learning alongside her people.

What Cleo wants most is connection. She is affectionate, loving, and truly happiest when she’s close to her humans—whether that’s snuggling on the couch or playing with her favorite toys. Because she bonds deeply and prefers to have her people to herself, Cleo would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention.
