Sam is a five-year-old, resilient, and loving three-legged shepherd with a heart full of courage and joy. Found in a Nevada shelter, after being left behind in a field, he was alone there for six months without one single visitor, and now he has overcome challenges with grace and ready for his perfect forever home in Virginia.
Sam gets along very well with other dogs but would likely thrive as the only pet, so he can enjoy all the love and attention he deserves. He adores looking outside and being outside on the grass just observing but also loves running, playing, and exploring. His energy is matched by his affectionate, loyal nature. Sam is up-to-date on all his vaccinations, healthy, and ready to bring joy to a family that appreciates a brave, spirited companion.
