Houston is a total sweetheart with a goofy streak and a big heart. He recently discovered the joy of fetch and is hilariously vocal about it — classic Shepherd groans and all. Still figuring out toys, he approaches everything with curiosity, from learning stairs to chasing balls in the yard.

He’s incredibly affectionate, loves people, and will be your constant shadow. Houston is crate-, leash-, and house-trained, and though he has plenty of energy, he knows how to settle down when it’s time. He’s still a little unsure around other dogs, likely due to fear, so a patient adopter can help him build confidence at his own pace.

At about 60 lbs, Houston is a bit underweight, but he’s food-motivated and thriving in his foster home. He’s a fast runner, would make an awesome workout buddy, and would love a home with a yard and someone active to share adventures with.
