Meet Tracy 6739.  She is a 2 year old spayed GSD.  She came from a shelter in SC and we don’t really know much beside she was “urgent” when we pulled her meaning she was going to be euthanized soon.  She was flown up to Virginia by Paws N Pilots and has been enjoying life since.  She a very sweet medium energy shepherd.  She loves to play but settles well.  She’s good with people and dogs and gets excited(in a good way) when she sees either on a leash.  She LOVES kids so she hopes to find a nice family to live with.  She will bark at people outside but is their best friend the second they come inside.  She plays a bit rough with dogs so will do best with another playful big dog or medium dog.  The male border collie in the house is her best friend.  She has yet to crack the stubborn male GSD in the house and be friends with him.  She’s very cuddly just don’t put your feet near her mouth or she will nibble on them.  She protests for a bit when crated but settles and has gotten a lot better.  She’s a big girl who is still learning how to be a dog so you will need to teach her things but she learns quickly.  She probably didn’t have toys before she came to us so she’s learning about those but she’s not destructive with human things.  She can still be a little mouthy too but even then is gentle.  She needs some obedience work but that should be expected of a young shepherd who hasn't been taught much.  Overall, this is a really nice girl and would be a great fit for an experienced or first time Shepherd owner.  Kids about 6+ would be fine.  Fully fenced in yard is required.  At least 4 ft but she is not an escape artist.  This is a rare dog to find in rescue.  She's about as easy at it gets, especially for her age.  Tracy is being fostered in Newport News VA.  You can ask her foster any questions directly at mcclellanka@gmail.com.  Apply to adopt me at https://vgsr.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5185
