Venus 6234 has personality and spunk that outshines the stars! Venus was picked up as a stray in South Carolina and is estimated to be 2-3 years old. Her condition is nothing short of pitiful. She is very emaciated, she has sores and scabs all over her boney body. Every vertebrae in her spine can be seen with the fur almost separated at each bone. Her hip and chest bones are protruding. Her coat is dull, her skin dry and itchy and she has clearly had puppies in the past. Her nails are so long they turn her toes. Despite all of this she is a vibrant, sweet and spunky girl full of life and love! Venus is not a shy girl and is very friendly with people! She gets excited and wants to give hugs - we are working on keeping all 4 on the floor.  She did well with her dog introduction at the shelter and she will meet some other dogs in the next few days.
