Hi, my name is Hades, but please don’t let the name mislead you – my foster dad says that I am nothing more than a big belly-rubbing, sweetest German Shepherd that you could ever meet. I know my basic commands, am house-trained, and do very well in the crate. You might call me the textbook example of a velcro dog, as I love being wherever my foster family is. My foster dad says that I need some more practice loose-leash walking, and we have been working on it every day. I get a little excited when meeting other dogs, so I need a strong leader to take charge and possibly some socialization training. I don’t get excited when folks are outside like the postman or delivery person – I will give a few stranger-danger barks when someone rings the doorbell and need a few minutes to warm up to new people. I love playing with my chew toys and never chew on things I am not supposed to. I am very food and toy motivated and love to learn new commands and routines. It doesn’t take me more than 3 or 4 times to learn new things. I am hopeful that I have won your heart over and you are open to adding me to your pack! Please email my foster parents at jmarkfva@gmail.com if you have questions!
