Joey 3504 is the total package! He is beautiful, intelligent and has a sweet disposition. Joey has been with us for a short time and it still settling in. So far we know that he is house broke and he does excellent in his crate. He knows basic commands such as sit, down and he knows how to give his paw to shake! Joey has done great with all dogs that he has met. He loves attention and bonds quickly - he is a velcro dog who likes to be close to his humans. He is energetic but not overly rambunctious for his age. Joey came into the rescue as a stray and doesn't seem to be familiar with hard wood or tile flooring. He is adjusting to the floors but is scared to walk on them so he will dart across each room to the nearest rug and navigates by going rug to rug. He has improved significantly in a short time so we are hopeful that he will eventually not think twice about the floors. Joey has not been tested with cats so we are unable to say how he would do living with kitties at this time. Joey has done well with strangers and seems to like everyone he has met. We feel he would do fine in a home with children that are respectful of him. Joey has a vet appointment on February 16th to get neutered and have his wellness exam.
