7/01/2020. Meet Sig — or as we affectionately call him in our home "shadow". This handsome 5 year old wants nothing more than to find a forever family that wants a best friend. He is always under foot following wherever we go and he loves chest and belly scratches! Unfortunately, Sig was an urgent rescue and when he first came to us, his coat was very coarse and he had multiple hot spots and scabs from him scratching so terribly. The vet evaluated him and felt he was either allergic to his previous environment or the food they had been giving him. We switched his food and they placed him on an antibiotic and he has never been better!

He is a very active pup and would love nothing more than to play ball all day. He loves running in our backyard and meeting the neighbors and the neighborhood pups. He would benefit from a tall fence as he gets very excited to say hello and while he hasn't jumped it yet — he's a smart puppers who very well could! Sig is protective of my husband and I and while he is not aggressive, he has a strong bark to show off that he belongs with us and it's his home. He immediately gives kisses and tail wags once he knows the guests are our friends! Sig needs a family who is patient with his healing skin and has time to play, cuddle and provide all of the best snuggles.
