'Dart' is a tall handsome 75 pound neutered 4 year old black/silver male. Through no fault of his own, he's found himself in a foster home and is looking for a new family. So far he's done well indoors as well as out but does love the outdoors and enjoys long walks to burn off energy. He is crate and house trained and is settling in nicely with his foster family. He has done well when introduced to other dogs in the neighborhood and no aggression has been observed. He's been easy to manage on long walks with a prong collar. He is a big boy so needs an owner comfortable managing a large dog and would do well with someone with breed experience.  After just a few day, he's already appointed himself the guardian of our small home and yard and will let us know if anyone comes by.  He does need boundaries placed but learns very quickly what is allowed and what isn't.  He is intelligent and receptive to his humans and would certainly do well with continued training.    We're still getting to know him but after just a few days he's started to settle down and shown that he'll make a great companion for the right family. His new best friend has been our 12 year old son and has been great around other kids he's met. He has a moderate prey drive and so would not do well with a cat but if your squirrels and bunnies need some exercise he would be happy to oblige.  He is healthy and up to date on all of his shots.
