Monster Mash is equally energetic, calm and loving. She would score a zero on 'people aggression'. She gets very excited at the promise of meeting someone new. She does have a strong 'prey drive' and will jump at the chance to chase a squirrel. She'll also jump at the chance to chase after another dog so I would consider her 'middle of the road' on dog reactive. I don't sense that her dog-reactive actions are motivated by fear or aggression though, just excitement to meet them. I think she really wants to play but doesn't really have great greeting or play skills. Likely, she didn't have enough play time with other puppies when she was younger and just needs more scheduled play time to work out the kinks. I would expect her to chase after a cat if she saw one but the first (or second) scratch on the nose would probably set her straight.
She's a smart dog, very food motivated, loves toys (especially if you play with her) and loves to have her nose and neck scratched. All of these qualities have made her extremely responsive to training. She doesn't bark a lot, just at the extra-ordinary things that are probably worthy of your attention. She does have some nervous energy but it's also easily diverted to a nice hard bone (buffalo horns!) squeeky toy or a nice 15 minute play session with you! She's become very comfortable in being crated and doesn't reject it at all. She'll also wait very patiently while you prep her food, releasing with a quick touch to her nose.
Mash does get a little car sick on occasion, so you'll need to watch the curves and abrupt stops/starts. Some dramamine and a new bone/toy help to distract her and keep her from making herself dizzy.
I've also had her wet the floor a little when meeting someone new, but a quick bathroom visit beforehand seems to keep that accident from happening.
Mash will be a little high-energy at first especially in new circumstances. At 55lbs though, she's much easier to handle than a larger GSD, and with time and training I think she's going to mature into a very well behaved (and appreciative) dog.
