10/25/16 We just got this sweet boy. More to come as we get to know him, but so far he is a very good dog. His background is a bit sketchy as he came from an abandonment situation.  But he was obviously well cared for while he was in transition from his former home to VGSR.  He has had some training. We are thinking he is more of a polishing off the tarnish than diamond in the rough kind of dog. If he hasn't been trained before, then he is completely amazing at learning new things. He is eager to please and treat motivated, just an all around nice dog.  In fact, so nice that the vet examining him said she wishes she could adopt him!  She pulled me aside and told me to make sure he gets a really really good home. He had all the ladies swooning over him at the vet's office. He received a clean bill of health and just needs his booster shots in two weeks.
