We finally were able to get a quick video of Serena jumping up in the air to catch her ball!  Of course we couldn't get one when she was jumping really, really high!  Also, tonight we found out she likes carrots, red bell peppers, and lettuce!

She shared with me today that she's really hoping that she'll get her furever home for Christmas!  She has to have one with a fenced yard where she can play ball as much as her sweet little heart desires.  However when she's done playing ball, all she wants to do is cuddle up with her person/people.  And last, but most certainly not least, she would love nothing better than to snuggle up with her person/people in bed to help keep them warm this winter!

We have discovered that Serena loves her daily walk!  She gets so excited when it is her turn to be walked!  Once outside, she grabs the leash in her mouth and can't get started quick enough!!  (The dogs get one walk, in the evenings, because we play in the yard off and on during day.)  She does pull a bit, but we're working on that.

Also, at last weekend's event we found out it seems that she's not fond of small children.  When they approached her, and they all approached very respectfully, she grumbled at them under her breath and even barked at a few.  So at this time we would say that it would be better off she go to a home with no small children.  As of right now, we don't know how she does with teenagers.

Serena loves attention!!  She would be fine in a home as an only dog or with other dogs that won't get jealous of her seeking attention.

As mentioned previously, she LOVES to play ball.  She will play ball for hours on end!  We're pretty sure she has springs in her legs instead of bones - this girl can get some air!!  We hope to get some video of her springing into the air soon!

She is still totally ignoring our cats and getting along fine with our resident pack.  However, she will get grumbly if one of the other dogs tries to steal her food or the crumbs of her treats.

Did I mention she LOVES to play ball????

Serena just came to our home yesterday.  She is a sweet little girl who is settling into her new foster home really well.  So far, we’ve discovered that she loves to play ball!!

She’s currently living with 2 GSDs, 3 Huskies, and 2 cats.  She pretty much ignores the cats.  She is house broken, crate trained and does well in the car.

Serena is brand new to rescue. She has been good with my other dogs and has started to fit in already. She needs to learn some leash manners but seems to learn quickly.  I will update her information after spending more time with her.
