Shila [Shy-la], as her name implies, is a shy gal.  She startles at some noises and quick movements, but recovers quickly. She is a bit overweight and is slowly slimming down.

She is good with other dogs, watching what they do and modelling their behavior.  Shila is very friendly and sweet and loves to have her back scratched.  When she gets excited she gives a little bark.

She rides very well in the car and is good on leash.  As she has adjusted to her new foster home and getting comfortable her personality is emerging.  She has tried to play ball, but seems happy to just carry it around, wagging her tail.   Shila likes being close to her person and is looking for a family that will take her for long walks, play ball  and give daily back scratches; lots of back scratches.
